With a fresh new blog, what a great way to start things off by enumerating 7 Facts About Me? Sasha , my fashion blogger friend for Tops2Bottoms has tagged me to share 7 random facts about me. I kept on analysing Sasha’s post if I was permitted to confine it to a “stylish level”, which is within the bounds of my scope of blogging, which is beauty blogging, or just naming 7 random facts about me, in general. In this case, I’m mixing them both since my personal life is pretty much intertwined with my beauty blogging life. I’ve been vain all my life.

Anyway, here’s my piece. =)

1. I love wearing black. I’ve alot of black blouses and sleeveless tops. I believe that black is such a beautiful , classy color that fits me, and complements my skintone and figure. Even if I’m Chinese, and black clothing is highly discouraged to be worn, I’m off my rebellious streak because I feel beautiful when I’m wearing black.

2. I eat ALOT, and I mean ALOT, and I never get totally fat. Ever since I was little, I was even asked to undergo a physical exam if there was anything wrong with me since I had such a hefty appetite, but my weight was just alright. Until now, my appetite is as insatiable as ever ( specially in great resto’s ), but I don’t get totally fat. I’ve been surprised numerous times that friends who would see me in random at a place would ask for my secret for losing weight - and I’m kept dumbfounded - unable to produce an answer for it because I don’t even exercise at all.

3. I make my bestfriends choose my shopping stuff. I maybe really keen in beauty, but in fashion, I’m just so darn clueless. I’ve hidden myself in safe colors, and safe cuts, and my stylish bestfriends, are the people whom I envy the most with their audacious guts to express their personal style - which is way classy. So whenever we go in a store, I ask them which they think would fit great on me , as they would gladly oblige, as the stuffs they choose go directly to the counter where I pay for them. Haha. I’m that clueless with fashion.

4. I can talk about beauty products and tips all day long. This is the explanation on why I am a beauty blogger, and I maintain several blogs about beauty, like this, and this. Beauty is my favorite subject, and I will never run out of topics to talk about, and if I bore you, I must ask you to make me stop or I never will. It’s my passion, and researching, and experimenting about beauty brings me a sense of joy.

5. I’m a frustrated singer, dancer, actress, and model. I’ve always wanted to sing, but didn’t have the voice. I’ve always wanted to acquire the grace of a dancer, but I’m always left behind with two left feet and stiff movements. I’ve always wanted to act, but didn’t have the killer looks, and I’ve always wanted to model, but didn’t have the killer looks, shiny long legs, and great posture. I’ve always wanted to be any of the abovementioned, but God didn’t grace me with qualities that would fit any of those three. Oh well, I might as well pimp my baby sister who has awesome long legs. Maybe she’d model in the future, to satisfy my neverending frustration. God, I’d even try singing on the top of my lungs during a karaoke session - I had the proper tone, but I didn’t have the breathing technique ! Hahaha!

6. Beauty products are my ultimate luxury. My friends tell me how they want to save up for a Rolex, a mobile phone, or even a car stereo, and I get totally shocked with the pricetags of whatever they have mentioned. I’ve never been fond of watches, I think mobile phones should be kept simple - incredibly low maintenance, and car, well, my dad would take care of that ( hahaha! ), but I would never complain about the price tag of any beauty product. My friends would complain on how I would irrationally spend on thousands of pesos for an eyecream, or any cosmetics, but I get absolute fulfillment out of it. I’m really okay living and strutting anywhere without a watch, but with a pretty, made up face. =)

7. My family is my top priority. I would go to hell and back for the sake of my family, because I love my family above anything else. My family is my most prized possession in this lifetime, and I am quite lucky to be blessed to exist in this world in such a loving arrangement with these great people. Great karma for this life. I would just about do anything, for my family, even if it risks my chances of salvation. ( naka, hehe drama. )

Ay, 7 lang? Ironic, when I was starting to share stuff about myself, I thought I couldn’t finish seven. Now I’m done, I think that I still have alot more to say! Oh well, til my next meme!
