![]() Yesterday, I felt a natural high as I hosted the Beauty & Minerals Day, as I did makeovers on more than 10 girls. I can’t believe I was able to do it in a span of four hours! When I started grabbing hold of the makeup brushes, my hands just couldn’t stop working! I was so happy to have introduced mineral makeup to these newbies! We even had Billy Joe Crawford with us for a photo-op, thanks to my soul sister Sheila! ![]() Mineral makeup is just my life. Ever since I have touched this stuff, I never looked back. I didn’t have to splurge thousands of pesos on products that would expire in a year or so, and I found my personal style in applying it effectively. To those who say that mineral makeup is just a marketing hype, ask mineral makeup addicts like me and they will definitely not argue with you, but ask you to try it for yourself to feel the difference. I’m not a chemist or a science expert that can defend mineral makeup in a debate, but when it touches my skin, I just know that there is a humongous difference than traditional makeup. I don’t know why I have a natural high in doing makeovers. I am happy to be able to prettify girls, and solve what they want to be solved. As Meredith Grey said on her first scrub-in in a surgery, who needs drugs when you have surgery? For me, who needs drugs if you have mineral makeup, and you have the most wonderful job in the world , that is to do makeovers on girls, and make them feel great as they walk out the door? I so love gifting girls with self esteem boosts. I truly believe that it is more than makeup. =) As I rushed to the hotel to play date to my dad as he attends his old friend’s birthday party, I was dead tired, but I was still happy to see family friends again. It was nice seeing my dad so well-loved by this family. The food was superb, too. The night ended with a huge smile on my face. Remember last week’s ultimate depression? It’s all gone now. Something happened ( well, there is no new guy , definitely ), but I’m now pretty sure, and convinced of what my friends have repeatedly told me and yet I managed to play deaf. There are definitely better and greater guys than him. Last night, I was able to know that, for sure =) I feel great. No use in moping. I feel optimistic - but I have resolved, still, to focus on my career and businesses. With my upcoming schooling next year, I will surely have my hands full, and I’m going to be happy. I will definitely be. I am going to live a happy life, because I will it to be. Maybe it’s the sanest thing
