As summer is to approach the Northern Hemisphere as the Summer Solstice draws near , summer is bidding a quiet farewell, at least, in the country where I live in, which is situated near the equator.

I’ve always had this mentality that after June 12, summer is officially over. I remember last year, my college friends and I chose to frolic the last days of summer in Boracay, and the weather was still cooperating with us as it shone an exotic allure that captured my heart. The day we left, was the only time when the rain started pouring in Boracay - and that was the 13th of June.
